Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 August 2026

MyCircl ("we", "us") operates mycircl.ai. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It is written for product transparency; it is not a substitute for advice from your counsel.

What we collect

  • Account details: name, email, company, role, and authentication data.
  • Contacts you choose to import (name, email, company, title) from Google, Microsoft, or file upload — only with your explicit action.
  • Network activity: introduction requests, paths you search, invites, and vouch events.
  • Billing metadata when you subscribe (processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers).
  • Technical logs needed for security, abuse prevention, and reliability (IP, device, timestamps).

How we use data

  • Provide trusted introduction paths and network features you request.
  • Power optional AI assistance scoped to your own contacts and graph (when enabled).
  • Send transactional email (verification, password reset, intro updates, digests you opt into).
  • Detect fraud, fake accounts, and abuse; enforce plan limits and safety policies.
  • Improve product reliability — not to sell your address book.

Sharing

We share data with processors that help us run the service (for example hosting, email, payments, and optional OAuth providers you connect). We do not sell personal contact lists. Introductions share only what you authorize with the people in that intro flow.

Your choices

  • Verify, update, or delete account data from Settings where available.
  • Disconnect OAuth providers and stop importing contacts at any time.
  • Opt out of non-essential digests in Settings → Notifications.
  • Request access or deletion by emailing privacy@mycircl.ai.

Security

We use encrypted transport, hashed passwords, session cookies with security flags, and access controls on APIs. No method is perfect — report suspected issues promptly.
